ELDERLY MAN FOUND MURDERED IN HIS HOME
FREE STATE. – An elderly man (80) was found dead in his home in Parys yesterday morning around 09:45, where he was lying in the kitchen with his hands and feet tied.
According to Capt. Loraine Earle he apparently did not show up at the church and a woman from the church went to his house to investigate. She entered the house through the open back door, where she discovered the deceased’s body in the kitchen and informed the police.
The deceased lived alone. There was no forced entry into the house.
