Man has heart attack on crime scene by Wanda Olivier

KwaZulu-Natal. – A man, 56, this morning had a heart attack on a crime scene on the R102 between Ottawa and Palmview streets traffic lights.

Reaction Unit South Africa says two people who practiced for the Comrades marathon and the driver of a vehicle with a mechanical problem were allegedly robbed by three unknown suspects. A man who arrived on the scene suffered a heart attack.

Response officers were on their way to the robbery scene when they were informed by their Phoenix control room of the person having a heart attack. Paramedics were called and  stabilized the man on the back seat of a bakkie and transported him to a hospital.

Allegedly, three suspects, armed with a 9 mm pistol, knife and metal pipe, robbed the complainants of valuable items, durable running shoes and sports watches . After that, the driver of a broken blue bakkie that stood was robbed in the northern lane. This is what the man in the Isuzu showed up to help the man in the blue bakkie. Rusa says he realized a crime was being committed and had a heart attack.
