Musina police are investigating a case of robbery with a firearm that took place at Skoonplaas Musina town, Vhembe District, on Friday 24 May 2024.
Police reports indicate that a 39-year-old man (the victim) was walking to his residence. When he met a group of about seven men with two dogs. They ordered the dogs to bite him; he fought back. One suspect pointed at him with a firearm and assaulted him.
After assaulting him, they robbed him of a cellphone, an undisclosed amount of cash, and white tekkies that he was wearing. They fled the scene afterwards.
The police have opened a case of robbery with a firearm.
The police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist with the arrest of the suspects to contact the Crime Stop number on 0860010111, the nearest police station, or share information on MySAPS App.
Police investigations are still continuing.
