Two suspects opened fire on a truck that was travelling on Dumisani Makhaye Drive near Avoca Hills – KZN today (Thursday).
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance at approximately 13:53. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with the driver of a white Toyota truck. He explained that two (2) males exited a bush and opened fire on the vehicle before they fled empty handed back into the dense vegetation. The truck was transporting empty beer crates at the time of the incident. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.
No injuries were reported.
