Good evening, everyone.

Hero Sakkie is very sick and not doing well today. His blood pressure is very high, and his infection count is also elevated.

Sakkie is receiving additional blood due to a low hemoglobin count, and as far as I understand, approximately 5 pints of blood are needed.

Leatitia was not able to speak with the doctor directly, but all information was provided by the nurses in the surgical ICU.

Oom Sakkie’s pain is being managed very well. He is not fully awake, although he did recognize his loved ones today.

If there are no changes during the night, Sakkie will still go to theater at approximately midday tomorrow.

Please let us ask for prayers to keep Oom Sakkie safe and that healing will take place – We pray that his kidney function does not worsen and that the antibiotics will help him fight the infection.

Also, please pray for Leatitia and the kids. This is a challenging time ahead, and they are all heartbroken.

May our Heavenly Father comfort your family as you go through this traumatic time.
