BREAKING: Massive ransom demand made in exchange for return of kidnapped Bay businessman
A ransom demand of 1.4 million US dollars has been made in exchange for the safe return of kidnapped Gqeberha businessman Neal Ah-Tow.
Hawks Spokesperson Captain Yolisa Mgolodela confirmed the ransom demand on Tuesday morning and said it implied that the suspects could be foreign nationals.
She says Ah-Tow also requested his high blood pressure medication.
The owner of a popular fish and chips outlet in Sidwell was kidnapped outside his business premises on Friday.
Five men driving a silver Chev Cruz abducted Ah-Tow shortly before he opened his shop.
On Monday, police still had no news of Ah-Tow’s whereabouts.
