‘n Egpaar, die vrou 28 en die man 30 jaar oud, het Donderdagaand ‘n vermeende rower afgeweer in die parkeerarea van die metropolisie se hoofkantoor. Beide is beseer terwyl die vermeende rower met leë hande gevlug het.
Reaction Unit South Africa is deurdie metropolisie vir mediese hulp na die toneel ontbied. Lede het ‘n rumoer gehoor en ondersoek ingestel.
Die man en vrou woon ongeveer 200 meter van haar werksplek af. Sy en haar man is na bewering met die terugstap huis toe ná ‘n Kersfeespartytjie deur ‘n verdagte met ‘n mes gekonfronteer. Hy wou glo die vrou se handsak gryp. In die konfrontasie het sy ‘n sny aan haar kop opgedoen terwyl haar man in die arm gesteek is.
Die vrou en man is vir hulle beserings op die toneel behandel voordat die vrou per ambulans na ‘n hospitaal geneem is. Haar man het nie verdere mediese hulp nodig gehad nie.

Reaction Unit South Africa was called to the scene by the metro police for medical help. Members heard a noise and investigated.
The man and woman live about 200 meters from her workplace. She and her husband were allegedly confronted by a suspect with a knife after a Christmas party. He apparently wanted to grab the woman’s handbag. In the confrontation, she sustained a cut to her head while her husband was stabbed in the arm.
The woman and husband were treated at the scene for their injuries before the woman was taken to hospital by ambulance. Her husband did not need further medical help.
