Farm Attack in the Transvaal
Please pray for Family of Frontline IT Webmaster Ryno
Farm attacks and terrorism is a reality throughout South Africa.
We have just received word that our Frontline IT Webmaster, Ryno’s mother needs urgent prayer – their farm was attacked last night, Corne was stabbed andassaulted, her husband, Herman, was shot. They’re both in hospital. Ryno’s Uncle wrote to us: “Almost two hours ago, our family received the terrible news that Corne and her husband Herman had been attacked and robbed in the middle of the night on their farm. My sister, Corne, has been badly beaten. It appears that some of her ribs are broken, she has two stab wounds, and she is bruised all over her body. Her husband has been shot in the leg, stabbed in the stomach, and beaten up. Both of them are currently in surgery, but the hospital nurses informed me that while my sister was conscious, she repeatedly pleaded with them to see her son.”
Ryno’s uncle has organised a plane ticket for him to fly up to the Transvaal today.
Please mobilise prayer for this family. May the police bring the perpetrators to justice swiftly and may Corne and her husband Herman recover from their severe wounds.
We also pray that Ryno will be a blessing to his family at this critical time
