FARM ATTACK number 6 within a week. Family brutally attacked

 

These past few days have been a very dark time for our farmers.

There have already been 6 attacks on farmers in under a week. 2 of the attacks played out in 2 murders and 2 of the victims are in dire conditions in hospital.

Last night at 04 July 2024 at about 20:00 there was a farm attack in Witpoort between Bronkhorstspruit and Bapsfontein (Witpoort 551JR). People’s power news is still waiting for confirmation of the facts and facts may change.

The victims many well-known and loved farmers in the Witpoort area. Hendrik and Grieta Opperman, from Henopper dairy are the victims of the farm attack

Around 20:00 last night an attacker gained access to the homestead Aunt Grieta was brutally attacked with a hammer.

The attacker fled with cash.

Aunt Grieta managed to get her phone to call the uncle who was at the milking parlor, and he was able to call for help.

The community mobilized and emergency services were called. The suspect was tracked down by the area’s farmers and handed over to the SAPS.

Aunt Grieta is still in ICU because of her injuries and the community is asking that everyone pray for her for betterment.
