Paarl Rural Area
Saturday night at 22.25 during loadshedding in complete darkness, 4 men waring balaclavas to cover their faces, gained entry of the house and robbed 2 persons on a somewhat remote location on Keerweder road in Paarl.A neighbour, connected the Private DFW non profit emergency group, posted the right location and called for help.Through the DFW/FADT controlroom, multiple entities were alerted and on their way.The Fidelity ADT officer, affiliated to the DFW group was first on site, followed by the Paarl stationed K9 Police officers, who are also DFW Fire fighter volunteers in their spare time. The robbers fled the scene and taken some valuables.DFW crew was searching the area.As it was clear on scene, that injuries were inflicted by the robbers/attackers, and an ambulance was dispatched and the injured taken care of.The robbers got away. An investigation for house robbery by police is initiated.
