5 black men. 1 AK and 4 hand weapons. White Golf with registration number CZM805MP and took her weapons.

Vehicle found.

Attacker fled on foot.

Roads are blocked.

Search initiated

 

Operational Success Nelspruit Flying Squad:
The Unit Commander received information on a farm attack at Machado Cas 05/07/2024.
Five (05) suspects armed with an AK 47 and pistol assaulted and tied up complainants on the farm whereafter 1 x 303 Hunting Rifle, .22 Rifle, 4 x Pistols, 2 x Laptops and various other home items were robbed.
A BOLO was received about a white VW Golf CZM 805MP, which was also robbed, and suspects chased away from the farm.
Vehicles from Nelspruit Flying Squad were activated to close the N4. Information received indicated that the suspects are chasing towards Nelspruit on the Schoemanskloof road.
The Unit Commander was already on the Kaapsehoop road and was then informed that the suspects vehicle triggered the Ngodwana camera..
Suspects passed the Unit Commander from direction Kaapsehoop towards Nelspruit.
13 Km before Nelspruit chased into the plantation and jumped out from the vehicle. Due to no cellular coverage it was difficult to call for back up and the SAPS radio signal was very poor.
When back up arrived vehicle was found still ideling and suspects into the plantation.
Vehicle recovered with a few household items but Firearms robbed was gone.
Vehicle taken to Nelspruit VIS..
