FARM MURDER 18 DECEMBER 2023
An elderly man, 72, died after he and his wife were attacked on the farm Ronderug near the Orionskraal Road outside Vanrhynsdorp last night.
Lt. Col. Malcolm Pojie said five men with balaclavas entered the farmhouse through the back door.
The suspects allegedly tied up the couple, locked the woman in the bathroom and went outside with the man.
The elderly man’s body was found early this morning by his wife with a stab wound to his neck. This is after she managed to cut loose the rope she was tied up.
Forensic experts combed the scene for clues.
