Farm murderers face 23 years in prison after their elderly retired farmer murdered, tortured
Grahamstown – Eastern Cape. 3 farm attackers charged with murder of retired farmer Francis Davidson go to prison for 23 years. The attack took place last year April.
Yamkelani Funaphi, Thembelani Mazibuko and Andile Dyani were found guilty of murder, theft housebreaking and obstruction of justice.
The torture death of retired cattle rancher Francis Davidson, 73, outside Maclear was horrific and shocking to say the least! Davidson was attacked and killed by the 3 suspects at around 8:00 p.m. on April 26, 2023.
Davison was in hospital for six weeks after which he passed away as a result of the injuries he sustained. The 3 attackers tied him up, punched him repeatedly with blunt objects and threw paraffin over his back to burn his skin and wounds. He suffered multiple injuries, burns and skull fracture.
After several operations to relieve the pressure on his brain, Davidson later died of his wounds
