An interim management committee for the FF plus was recently set up in Gauteng to a leadership dispute in the province.
The committee is formed pending an internal investigation conducted to determine the validity of its provincial leadership election. The committee consists of Dr. Corne Mulder who will serve as chairman, Phillip van Staden, Grandi Theunissen, Jaco Mulder and Amanda de Lange.
Phillip van Staden was recently elected provincial leader of the FF-Plus in Gauteng with Grandi Theunissen and Kobus Hofmann as his two deputy leaders.
The result was then declared invalid by the executive executive of the party. Jaco Mulder was the previous provincial leader.
Rapport reported on Sunday allegations of threats, mismanagement and a suspended membership led the FF Plus to launch the investigation to determine the validity of the election.
Esté Gross joined the leader of the FF Plus, Dr. Pieter Groenewald talks. He said the party requested that the investigation be completed as soon as possible, and that a report be submitted by January 8, 2024.
