A report released by the Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital found that the former COO is capable of contributing meaningfully to his defence.

This, after the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria ordered in 2023 that Agrizzi be referred for mental observation to determine his fitness to stand trial.

He is also accused of corruption in R1.8 billion worth of dodgy prison tenders scored by Bosasa between 2004 and 2007.

Agrizzi has been in and out of hospital undergoing a cardiac procedure and other tests to stabilise his health.
