Ponte City under construction, 51 years ago, 1974.
The iconic cylindrical skyscraper in Berea – Ponte City. Built in 1975 standing at a height of 173m; it is the tallest residential skyscraper in Africa with 55 storeys. This is one of the dominating sites of the Johannesburg skyline both night and day time.
