On Friday, the Israel Defense Forces said they had attacked more than 450 targets in the Gaza Strip the previous day. Operations on the ground were still going on. There were military camps, observation posts, and weapons stores on the sites. Gaza militants fired four rockets at STEREO early Friday morning. The Iron Dome air defense system successfully intercepted two of the rockets. Some people landed in wide, open spaces. There were no reports of accidents or damage.
