The search for six-year-old Joslin Smith of Saldanha Bay on the West Coast has entered its seventh day.
Joslin, a Grade 1 learner at Diazville Primary School, went missing on Monday whilst in the care of her mother’s boyfriend.
On the day Joslin went missing, her mother, Kelly, kept her from school because she was not feeling well.
Patriotic Alliance Leader Gayton McKenzie has since offered a reward of R100 000 for information that could lead to Joslin’s return.
Police, community members, and various organisations have joined in a large-scale search to find her.
On Monday, Saldanha Bay Mayor Andre Brahm Truter confirmed that he approached the Navy to join in the search operation.
The public has meanwhile been cautioned not to share any false information about Joslin’s disappearance or the investigation.
