Manager of safari lodge fights for life after shots-Ronelle Snyders
LIMPOPOP. – Emily Leuner, a manager of Tintswalo Safari Lodge in the Manyeleti Game Reserve outside Hoedspruit in Limpopo, is fighting for her life after a shooting.
Leuner was hired as a driver couple at Tintswalo Safari Lodge in 2017 with Alistair, her husband, after working at Sabi Sabi.
Leuner was reportedly shot multiple times by an employee who was dismissed for a disciplinary hearing. The employee shot Leuner and then himself.
Leuner was first taken to Tintswalo Hospital in Acornhoek, after which she was transferred to Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg.
The incident was confirmed by the Collection Group.
