Manhunt underway after kidnapped foreign national killed
Eastern Cape police have launched a manhunt for the suspects who killed a foreign national and wounded another in two incidents in Cofimvaba this week.
Captain Namhla Mdleleni said police were summoned to a scene on Tuesday on the R61 where they found the body of a 37-year-old man, while a 32-year-old was also found with visible injuries.
She said the two were kidnapped on 29 July.
Mdleleni said no arrests were made and cases of murder and attempted are now being investigated.
No further details were provided, but SAPS has appealed to the public for any information that could assist them in finding the culprits.
