UPDATE-FOUND
An elderly cyclist is wanted after he undertook his usual cycle ride with his expensive titanium mountain bike early in the morning, but is still not at home.
His daughters are frantic with worry about their father.
The local Day Patrol has meanwhile launched a huge search for Mr. Marius Leon Brits
Mr. Brits, who is hard of hearing, went for a ride on his bike at around 08:00 this morning, but since then he has been in the clear.
He usually drives around for about an hour, and left his cell phone at home.
He likes to wear headphones that he listens to while cycling.
He lives in Dan Pienaarstraat, Dennesig.
He was wearing black sneakers and a black shorts
According to family, it is unusual for Mr. Brits to be away from home for so long.
Hospitals have already been contacted, but inquiries have yielded nothing.
His family has since reported him missing.
The cycling lane in Aerorand has also already been fine-tuned.
Mr. Brits is 64 years old and also struggles with blood pressure, in addition to diabetes.
According to his family, he usually only drives tar roads.
