Plot at Hilltop, NelspruitThe resident on the plot heard a noise at the front door and thought that it is his son coming home. When he opened the door, two suspects point him with a firearm and forced him to show them the safe. His wife was asleep in the bedroom and woke up. One suspect shot her in the leg, they grabbed her bag and cellphone and fled on foot. A third suspect was waiting at the gate. Police and security reacted promply. It was determined that entry to the premises was gained by cutting the wire. The victim had a gunshot wound to the leg and was admitted to the hospital.
