Police Statement – Possible MK riots nationwide-Andre Smit
According to a statement issued by the Natal commissioner, they received information that there was a strong possibility that members of the MK party could riot in solidarity with Zuma’s refusal to participate in the elections.
It is expected that the riots may start in me and spill over into the month of June
The statement warned that the risk of property damage, arson, blocking of roads, looting, hijacking of trucks and fighting between the MK party and other political party is a strong possibility

Avoid hotspot areas where sporadic riots occur from time to time

Report to your safety groups if you come across hotspots

Without causing panic, ensure that you stock up on sufficient supplies of food and water

Make sure your vehicle has sufficient fuel
Should any anarchy break out, it is possible that food and water supplies could become inescapable within hours.
