RIP Chris Harmse . Lots of strength to the family

It is with great sadness that we must announce that Chris Harmse went to his heavenly home this afternoon 29/5/2018. On behalf of the White Cross Monument as well as the Bittereinders and the Harmse family we say thank you for every call. We ask that you all will just give a little space to get over the worst shock and not make unnecessary calls. We will let you know of funeral arrangements once everything is finalized.

Chris had a special place in many people’s hearts and his love for our people through his work at the White Cross monument and Bittereinders was invaluable. Our Nation lost one of its big sons today.

Salute uncle, we will not forget. We shall continue to build and work where uncle left, we shall continue the race.

May God comfort the Harmse family today, and may he comfort everyone who was close to him.

God is with us.
