Strawberry Trifle Cheesecake
*ingredients :
°2 cups (340 grams) strawberries, diced
°1/3 cup (38 grams) of sugar
°One lemon juice
°21 oz (595 g) can strawberry pie filling
+Cheese cake mousse:
°450 gm of cream cheese
°2 cups (300 grams) powdered sugar, divided
°4 cups (1 liter) cream, divided
°1 tsp (15 ml) vanilla extract
°1 angel food cake, or vanilla cake, diced
*to prepare:
Mix strawberry slices with 1/3 cup sugar and lemon juice.
Mix and set aside to soak.
Cut the cake into cubes.
Whisk the cheese with a cup of confectioners’ sugar and a cup of cream.
Add the vanilla and whisk until smooth and light.
In a separate bowl, mix 2 1/2 cups of the cream with 1/4 cup of the powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Mix by folding 2 cups of the whipped cream into the cheese mixture using a spatula.
Save the remaining amount of whipped cream for decoration.
– Add the strawberry pie filling to the strawberry marinade and mix well.
Alternate layers of cake balls, strawberries and cream cheese mousse until all ingredients are used.
Cover with the remaining whipped cream and decorate as desired.
Tip: Instead of using 2 cups of whipped cream, use an 8-ounce jar of frozen whipped topping to mix with the cream cheese mixture. Use another jar to decorate.
