UPDATE: FARM ATTACK PETRUS STEYN

PETRUS STEYN: April 12, Welverdien posts 8 km from Petrus Steyn, Laurie Potgieter (63), whose leg was recently amputated, his nurse Gerda Oosthuizen (58) and Steven Fleming (32), who struggle to read, write and speak, were overrun by two armed men when they returned home come; they were forced into the house, tied up and asked for money, after which the attackers rob a number of goods, make themselves a meal in the house and terrorize the arrested for two hours, before escaping with the Toyota Hilux pick-up from Potgieter. After that, alarm was made, farm guard and SAPD responded with a large-scale search and later identified the pickup truck in Zamdela, Sasolburg, where a shooting fight broke out between the police and the suspects, suspects left the pickup truck with stolen goods and fled on foot; search for them still underway.
