The SA Chamber of Commerce USA’s (SACCUSA) newsletter just announced the completion of the handover of 67,042 South African’s details to U.S. Embassy in Pretoria.

Neil Diamond, President of SACCUSA, during the handover, stated, “This information handover is more than a procedural step; it’s a bridge to new beginnings for thousands of South Africans. As we refocus on promoting binational trade, investment and cultural exchanges between South Africa and the United States, we remain dedicated to facilitating these transitions smoothly and efficiently.”

“The information provided to the U.S. Embassy includes details of 67,042 registrants with their dependents, aimed at ensuring they are included in the resettlement process. This process will be handled by the US Government and USCIS and is expected to streamline the process of resettlement and integration into American society. SACCUSA expect that South Africans will contribute significantly to local economies and cultural diversity across the United States.”
