VB.294.VIKING BOER – DAILY DEVOTION – Prayer for Peace and Safety In Gaza:
Here is my prayer for Israel’s peace, safety, and the return of hostages:
O Divine Creator, source of peace and justice,
We come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your mercy and guidance in this time of conflict.
We pray for the people of Israel and Gaza, that they may find a path to peace, understanding, and reconciliation. May the violence cease, and may compassion replace fear and hatred.
Grant safety to all those who are in harm’s way. Protect the innocent, the vulnerable, and those caught in the crossfire. May they find shelter and comfort in Your love.
We beseech You for the safe return of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza. Bring them back to their families, unharmed and whole. Let there be an end to their suffering and fear.
Soften the hearts of those who hold these hostages, that they may choose the path of peace over conflict, dialogue over violence.
Grant wisdom to the leaders on both sides, that they may work towards a just and lasting peace. Illuminate their minds with the light of understanding and the courage to make difficult decisions for the greater good.
Heal the wounds of those who have suffered, both physically and emotionally. Restore to them hope, peace, and the joy of living without the shadow of war.
May communities on both sides foster mutual respect and recognition of each other’s humanity. Let forgiveness and love guide our actions and thoughts.
In Your infinite wisdom and compassion, guide us to a future where peace prevails, where children can grow up in safety, and where every individual can live with dignity and freedom.
