I have been living with macular degeneration for over 20 years so understand the signs. I have been blessed to have years without its re-emergence. My (right) good eye started showing signs of a new bubble forming on the macular early December last year. This has not gone away and, in fact, is now of great concern. Tomorrow I will be going to see opticians for an internal scan of my good eye to see whether I need to go back on needle therapy into my good eye. If this does not work I will go blind.
