Boksburg North Police arrested three suspects on Tuesday, 02 April 20024 at about 16:00 at Turf Road Anderbolt industrial area for possession of Gauteng traffic Police uniforms.
Members of SAPS Boksburg North Crime prevention group were conducting visibility in the area, as it is the hot spot for trio crimes when they spotted the white Volkswagen Polo with three occupants inside. There was double tape registration numbers that were put on top of the original registration numbers. The suspects tried to drive away but unfortunately bumped the side of the road and police managed to arrest them.
The trio aged between 28 and 44 years were detained at Boksburg North for possession of Police uniforms will be profiled to check whether they were not involved in other crimes.
Ekurhuleni District Commissioner, Major General Sithole commended the members for their vigilance in order to fight criminality in the District.
