A man in his forties was killed in a hail of bullets outside a tuckshop in Hazelmere – KZN.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were dispatched to the scene at approximately 18:28.
On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered the body of a man on the ground behind his white Toyota Corolla. He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced deceased by Paramedics.
It was established that the deceased exited a tuckshop when the occupants of a grey Suzuki (model & registration unknown) opened fire on him.
Approximately 25 spent 9 mm cartridges and two live rounds of ammunition were recovered at the scene.
The deceased is a resident of Hazelmere – KZN.
The motive for the murder has not been established at this stage….
