Flood 2022 Swat River and “Friends of Swat River” ?

Swat is famously called the Switzerland of Asia. However, the Swat River is currently polluted. In the past, the water of the Swat River was so clean that it was also usable for drinking; now it’s polluted to such an extent that it’s not good even for crops and living creatures. The waste and garbage from hotels are disposed of in the river, which is the main cause of pollution.
Unfortunately, the worst flood of 2022 washed away most of these hotels. Now, when rehabilitating these hotels, we have created “Friends of Swat River” projects to educate and demonstrate how plants can help new hotels build inexpensive wetlands that can release clean water that’s safe for crops and living creatures in the river.
