    A Farm attack suspect has been removed from a community in Limpopo following his arrest on Friday, 17 February.
    FARM ATTACK LINKED SUSPECT CAUGHT IN LIMPOPO
    The Provincial spokesperson Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo confirmed that members of the Trio Task Team in the Vhembe District have arrested a 35-year-old man for house robbery, possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition at Nzhelele Ha Rabali yesterday.
    “The Police received information about suspects who committed house robbery (farm attack) in Musina in December 2022. The suspects were traced and one of them aged 35 was positively linked to the incident and arrested at Ha Rabali,” he said.
    He added that two firearms with magazine and ammunition that were reported stolen during the farm attack at Tshipise outside Musina were recovered hidden in a Kraal during the arrest.
    PROVINCIAL COMMISSIONER PLEASED BY THE ARREST
    The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the members for an excellent job of arresting the suspect and removing firearms from the hands of criminals.
    The suspect will appear in court on Monday, 20 February 2023 for unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition and house robbery.
    “The Police investigations are still ongoing.”
