ON THIS DAY in MISSIONARY HISTORY
16 July 1931 – Worldwide Evangelisation Crusade (WEC) Missionary, C.T. Studd died at age 70 at Ibambi, Belgium, Congo. Amongst other things, CT Studd is famous for having declared: “Some want to live within the sound of church or chapel bell; I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell.” And “Only one life, it will be soon be passed. Only what’s done for Christ will last.” He founded the WEC.
