Ingredients:

Flour: 300g (2 cups)

Egg: 1

Sugar: 45g (1/4 cup)

Salt: A pinch

Dry Yeast: 7g

Hot Milk: 140 ml (3/5 cup)

Softened Butter: 40g (1/4 cup)

For Decoration:

Whipped Cream

Strawberries, chopped

Granulated Sugar

Preparation Steps:

Yeast Mixture: In a medium bowl, combine sugar, yeast, and milk. Stir until the yeast and sugar are dissolved.

Dough Formation: Whisk the egg in a separate bowl. Add flour and a pinch of salt to the yeast mixture. Begin kneading with a spatula. Once partially mixed, continue kneading with your hands until the dough becomes elastic.

Incorporate Butter: Add softened butter to the dough. Continue kneading until the butter is fully integrated, and the dough is smooth.

First Rise: Shape the dough into a ball. Cover it with a tea towel or plastic wrap and let it rise for an hour in a warm, draft-free place.

Divide and Shape: After the first rise, divide the dough into eight equal parts. Roll each part into a ball. Cover and let them rest for 30 minutes.

Final Shaping: Slightly flatten each ball and then roll them into balls again. Cover and allow them to rest for another 30 minutes.

Frying: Heat oil in a deep pan over low heat. Fry the dough balls for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown.

Assembly: Cool the fried dough slightly and then slice each one in half, like a burger bun. Fill the bottom half with whipped cream and chopped strawberries. Close it with the other half and sprinkle with granulated sugar.

Serve these sweet, creamy, and fruity delights and enjoy a homemade treat that’s as visually appealing as it is delicious!
