Pam Macmillan will publish Arthur Goldstuck’s The Hitchhiker’s Guide to AI, a book aimed at both beginners and those who consider themselves experienced or skilled at using AI, in late November 2023.

Goldstuck travelled around the globe to learn about what AI is doing for the planet and its people, and his book provides an overview of AI’s past, present, and future.

“Join Arthur Goldstuck as he journeys around the globe, from Africa to the Middle East to North America to Europe and Asia, in his quest to learn what AI is doing for the planet and its people and into the heart of the machines that are changing the world,” the book’s description reads.

“As generative AI becomes a household phrase and sparks hopes and fears of machines augmenting or replacing human beings, this guide offers an invaluable overview of the past, present and future of AI.”

In The Hitchhiker’s Guide to AI, Goldstuck draws on numerous years of direct access to global and regional leaders in AI technology and provides unique perspectives on generative AI and advice for its use.

It is said to be useful for consumers, academics, professionals, and anyone in business who wants to get up to speed in a short space of time.

Goldstuck, an award-winning writer, analyst, and technology commentator, has authored 20 books and founded World Wide Worx, a leading technology market research firm in Africa.

He has received lifetime achievement awards from professional bodies, encompassing innovation in various sectors, including information technology, public speaking, training and mentorship, and market research.

Pam Macmillan will publish The Hitchhiker’s Guide to AI in late November 2023, and it describes the book as the “AI authoritative handbook for all”.
