    1. LAST DAYS: This is the Christian and final era
      Genesis 49:1; Isaiah 2:2; Micah 4:1; Matthew 28:19, 20; Acts 2:17;
       2 Timothy 3:1; Hebrews 3:1; James 5:3; 2 Peter 3:3; 1 Peter 1:5;
       1 John 2:18; Jude 18
    • Rejection of Christ and persecution of Christians;
    • Since the time of the disciples, including the destruction of Jerusalem;
    • The greatest wealth and success came during this period;
    • Salvation is preached to all nations by the Christians;
    1. THE TIME OF THE END: This is from 1798 AD until the end

       Daniel 8:17; Daniel 11:35, 40; Daniel 12:4-7, 9
    • When the book is unsealed (Daniel 12), knowledge will increase and therefore the 2300 day prophecy will be understood. The decree to rebuild Jerusalem in 457 BC is the starting point of the 2300 day prophecy of Daniel 8:14 and ends in 1844;
    • The studying of this prophecy would have begun a short time before: Daniel 12:6, 7, 9, which was in 1798 AD;
    1. THE LATTER DAYS/TIMES

        Isaiah 52:6; Jeremiah 25:33; Jeremiah30:7, 8; Hosea 2:18; Joel 3:18;
        Zephaniah 10:15; Matthew 7:22; Matthew 24:36; Luke 6:23; Luke 17:31;
        John 6:39, 40, 44, 54; John 11:24; John 12:48; 1 Thessalonians 5:4;

    Summary – THE REMANT
    1. Arises after 1798 AD; i.e. during the time of the end (B);
    2. They “keep the commandments of God”: Revelation 12:17, Revelation 14:12;
    3. Have “the testimony of Jesus”: I John 5:9-12; Revelation 12:17; Revelation 19:10 (last part);
    4. Preaches the 3 angels’ message: Revelation 15:6-12;
    5. This group of people remain until the 2nd coming (D).
