Local Authorities in Britain were granted powers to introduce Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO) in 2014 through section 59 of the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014. PSPOs replaced previous legislation and introduced wider discretionary powers to deal with nuisances or problems which harm the local community’s quality of life.
This particular incident is a topic that main stream media in Britain should be writing and speaking out about but so far only GB News has been brave enough to take on the issue and prior to this Carlson Tucker from Fox News, America. I live in Britain and can also add that if a christian preaches in a street in Britain he or she will also be charged with PSPO. I often protest in London usually outside the High Commission for South Africa, 10 Downing Street and at Parliament Square. With this new law it makes it difficult for us to protest, speak out or even think. This law contravenes Human rights law, for example; Articles 18,19.
It is disgusting. How much longer are the people going to take this abuse…or is it too late…is everyone so brainwashed that they cannot see what is happening right before their eyes. The time has come to stand up and fight for our human rights or perish
